Rose Matafeo wins Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2018

Phoebe Bourke of Rockfleet directed the award winning performance.

Phoebe Bourke, one half of Rockfleet - an Anthology Group Company - directed Rose Matafeo's show, Horndog, which won Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Rose is the first non-white stand-up winner of the award and only the fifth woman in its 38-year history.

The show was produced by Phoebe's live comedy production company Berk's Nest,  who picked up two further nominations for Kieran Hodgson: 75 and for Olga Koch: Fight. Phoebe also directed Glenn Moore's show Glenn, Glenn, Glenn How Do You Like It, How Do You Like It which was also nominated for Best Comedy Show.
